Yordan Yordanov – Co-founder of Europa Power Initiative – a strategic international platform for European development

Yordan Yordanov, owner of the real estate agency “Nov Dom 1”, construction entrepreneur, investor, and regional director of the world’s largest business network BNI, is among the founders of Europa Power Initiative – a new strategic platform aimed at strengthening Europe’s leadership. Over 200 prominent representatives from politics and business, including Yordan Yordanov, gathered on November 26-27 at the founding assembly under the patronage of the Presidents of France and Italy, Emmanuel Macron and Sergio Mattarella, respectively.

Europa Power Initiative

Europa Power Initiative is an initiative by political figures with international authority, visionaries, and innovators, aimed at formulating a common European direction for security, competitiveness, and technological advancement.

The initiative is supported by a collective presidency, which includes former European Commissioners representing the main political forces on the continent: Margrethe Vestager, Nicolas Schmit, and Mariya Gabriel; leading economic, financial, and industrial figures such as Jean-François van Boxmeer (European Round Table of Industrialists), among others. Alongside them, experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, civil society leaders, and young leaders worked on various topics: geopolitics and defense, democracy and the rule of law, growth and competitiveness, science and technology, culture and creativity, as well as common goods such as climate, energy, and healthcare.

“It is an honor for me to be a co-founder and part of this process, invited by public leaders such as Mariya Gabriel, Emmanuel Macron, Dimitar Vasilev, and Roberta Metsola. The Power Europe Initiative focuses on a new model of European leadership, deeper cooperation between states, strengthening Europe’s role as a global actor, and investments in innovation, knowledge, and strategic technologies. This is a moment when Europe chooses to be strong, united, and ambitious,” said Yordan Yordanov in Strasbourg.

The founders adopted the so-called Strasbourg Declaration, which states: “Europe is facing a profound change in the world order, now structured around sharp competition between systemic superpowers. In this context, Europe can no longer afford the luxury of hesitation: it must change its attitude and activate the levers of power it has left idle for too long. Alone, each European country is only a peripheral player. Together, we can once again become a systemic power.”
